colorblind

waktu balik KL (dari kampung) raya haji yang lepas.. seperti biasa bas adalah tansporter rasmi aku. diambil kira faktor jarak (kilometer) ditukar ke masa (minit) penang - kl kira-kira 4 hingga 5jam. untuk lari dari keadaan tubuh bosan yang terduduk kaku. jalan alternatif, sumbat la earphone ke telinga. layan mp3 sambil mulut terkumat-kamit hiburkan hati. playlist aku kali ni between the buried and me (btbm) album the anatomy of.. sebab apa aku pilih? sebab album nih album cover. so genre pon variety (rock, country, grunge, thrash, hc, progressive...). dari pink floyd, counting crows, queen, soundgarden, king crimson, smashing pumpkin, metallica, sepultura, faith no more, earth crisis etc.. dan tak lupa btbm ni band progressive death metal dan sedikit perisa jazz dan hardcore. yummy bukan?

sebelom ini favourite song dalam album nih bycycle race - queen, territory - sepultura. tiba-tiba sampai track terakhir aku mcm.. ntah nk ckp. S E D A P :D intro plucking.. vokal maintain layan angkasa je hihi. check playlist. cover dari counting crows lagu colorblind. pastu aku repeat je sampai ke KL :D

cerita di ofis. fathullistiwa soundscape (EP pertama romantikarat) tidak lagi berkumandang. kini aku taruhkan colorblind dr awal pagi masuk kerja sampai balik kerja. haha.. aku rasa seminggu lagu yang sama. tak tau la budak opis perasan ke tak lagu repeat :P

pernah tengok movie cruel intention? counting crows - colorblind adalah salah satu dari soundtrack filem tersebut.

"ok as for the scene in cruel intentions, i dont think it has to do with anette giving herself to sebastion in the literal sense, but more sebastion giving himself to anette in the sense of he finally found someone that he loves. "i am covered in skin, no one gets to come in" is perfect for him, because for so long, he kept himself hidden from everyone, and just kept himself wrapped up and he wouldnt love anyone. "pull me out from inside, i am ready ..." meaning that hes finally ready to fall in love in stop using a girl. and as for the color references, i dont think it has to do with race, i think its just more of a sensory thing. and the "stutter shook, and uptight" thing might be saying how completely his world was rocked from anette. i dunno if its about losing your virginity or not, either way its a freakin good song... "
